Rudy...
I’ve been writing nonstop so I can cobble October rent and bills. There are so many things I’ve been wanting to say, but everything keeps taking a number.
I adopted Rudy posthumously. I get his ashes this week. I will sprinkle most of him in his favorite spots around the neighborhood. It’s been a week since he died.

I’ve cried on and off for 20 hours. I’ve been up since 3:45 a.m. Before I set off to the place in Brooklyn, to leave his little body, I asked if I could adopt him posthumously, since I was only his foster. I did. He’s mine. I get his ashes middle to late next week. I will sprinkle him in all his favorite spots.
